WORLD’S SAFEST HOUSE

LOS ANGELES, CA – It is hard to put a price on safety and peace of mind, but one company thinks that $7.25 million is a good place to start!

When you think of safety within a home, you usually think of a panic room or a great security system or perhaps just a couple extra locks around the home. Well one house, high in the hills overlooking Los Angeles, goes several steps further than just your average panic room.

The world’s safest house has two hidden panic rooms and two invisible “safe cores.” The safe cores allow entire sections of the house to be isolated from the rest of the home providing safety from intruders, natural disasters and nuclear, biological, and chemical warfare. The house all contains state of the art surveillance abilities. The current homeowner declined to discuss more of the specifics due to concern that it would compromise the overall system.

JACKSON TAYLOR

ENGLAND – A terrible tragedy has occurred in the town of Bradford. A tragedy that might have a family member to blame!

Jackson Taylor, a nine-year-old boy from Bradford, has died from multiple stab wounds. Jackson died as he was being rushed to the hospital last night. Jackson’s sister was also rushed to the hospital due to a stab wound to the hand, but her injuries were not life threatening.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested and it is highly suspected that the individual is the brother of both individuals. Police are refusing to confirm the identity of the culprit, but neighbors of the family claim that it is the brother.

The 10-year-old granddaughter of Trevor Bairstow, Leah, went to school with the victim and attests to the fact that it was the brother who is responsible. “The boy went to Wibsey Primary School. He was a normal little lad. I used to see him playing out and about,” said Bairstow.

Dale Webster, 24, lives across the road from the scene of the crime and says that disturbances within the Jackson household was not uncommon. “I’ve seen police go into that house a lot in the past. And I think a mental health team have gone to the home,” said Webster.

It is a simple yet effective method that takes no more than fifteen to twenty minutes of your time. This method is not advisable for Pearl or Emerald jewelry or for any gemstone jewelry that has been enhanced.

For jewelry made of gold, and things made of vinyl and copper, you may use sudsy water. On the other hand, a bucket of cold water and a sponge will work for sandstones, granite, concrete, brick and marble surfaces. Although, if the stain is too heavy, powder detergent may also be needed.

There are some home methods you can use to clean silver, however, they may or may not cause damage. These methods should not be used for silver that is irreplaceable! The first method you can use is toothpaste. You want to choose plain white toothpaste without whitening ingredients. Simply place a dab of toothpaste on a soft cloth and rub the silver gently. Then, you can rinse it and promptly dry it. Usually, this will remove tarnish spots.

To clean diamond jewelry use a mix of 1 cup water and ¼ cup of ammonia. Immerse the piece for about 20 to 30 minutes. Then brush gently with a soft toothbrush, taking special care to brush the back mounting and the culet (tip of the diamond) as that is where most of the grime sticks reducing the amount of light passing through the stone thus reducing its luster.

Platinum jewelry can be cleaned in the same way as gold and silver jewelry however it is important to remember that soaking in solutions such as ammonia can damage the jewelry, harsh chemicals are really best for hard gemstones such as diamonds. You can also have you platinum jewelry cleaned by a professional jeweller.
